Sooo Happy

I hate to say it. Ageism is real. I am healthy, engaged in my work, and plan to continue for another 10 to 20 years, even as many of my peers begin to retire. One thing that had started to weigh on me was my neck. It became especially noticeable in Zoom meetings, and I found it increasingly distracting.

I had not originally planned to address my upper eyelids, but after seeing my photos, I decided to move forward with that as well. In addition, I chose to have a chin implant and under-eye CO? treatment. The recovery was longer than I expected, but the results have absolutely been worth it.

What I appreciate most is how natural everything looks. When I share before-and-after photos with close friends, they are genuinely surprised, yet no one in my professional environment has asked if I had anything done. In academia, where there can be a tendency toward judgment, that subtlety matters.

About 6 weeks after the procedures, I was at another doctor's appointment, and a medical assistant told me to let the front desk know there was a typo in my age. He was being honest...and it made the whole thing worth it.
I am very happy with my decision and would confidently recommend Dr. LanFranchi and his team. If you are considering a procedure, my advice is simple: choose someone who specializes in it. This is his work every day. That level of expertise makes a difference.
