Almonte - the Butcher of Roseville BEWARE
Over one year post op from the revision
Thank you to all the people that have reached out to me privately about my experience. I appreciate the care and concern and I'm happy to share more pictures and provide the info on competent surgeons that I have consulted with.
I am over a year post op and the scars look just as bad. There is still a lot of tightness and pain as well as redness although my ears are usually covered by scar cream and silicone tape in hopes of improvement until I can afford a revision by one of the many wonderful ones that I have consulted with in this past year.
I also wanted to post on here that Almonte had reached out to me via email after this review went live and he did agree that my scars did look bad. However, nothing else in terms of actually helping the situation or even a response when I asked for a refund to put towards another required revision after his two failed surgeries on me.
I'm still doing my part on Instagram and other social media platforms to reach out to people that show interest in using him as a surgeon to be a warning to them and share my pictures and experience and to refer them to competent surgeons that actually know what they are doing. Almonte has blocked me on social media but I am using new accounts to continue to monitor and watch his posts and warn others. I feel like I would want others to warn me about a surgeon that can leave a person horribly scarred, with no recourse, and than blocks them.
Good luck to everyone out there on their journey and always consult with multiple surgeons and talk to past patients one on one for in-depth reviews. I will continue to make periodic updates!

Another Consultation with a Surgeon that Specializes in Revisions
I consulted with a plastic surgeon in the Bay Area last week who specializes in facelift revisions. He confirmed what the last surgeon that I consulted with told me: Dr Almonte placed all the tension on my skin causing the scar to widen. In a proper facelift all the tightening and tension is supposed to happen below the skin and then the skin sits on top with no pulling. So, Dr Almonte did exactly what you're not supposed to do. This surgeon also advised me that I lack facial balancing, that this is something the surgeon should have looked at. Dr Almonte lipo'd a section under my chin which has created an indent. The surgeon explained how this type of procedure is an art and that you need to have a good eye and to look at each person individually. Overall, I was happy to have yet another consulation with another competent surgeon. It gave me some hope. The unfortunate part is, he declined to the surgery on me for now since there is too much tightness and advised me to come back in a year. I just want people to know that there are very skilled surgeons out there that do beautiful work and that really care about their patients, that are more interested in their happiness and well-being and not money. Dr Almonte is not one of them. If anyone would like the names of some of these wonderful surgeons that I was referred to please message me.
