Hoping to get feedback. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I am planning an interview with Dr Timothy Marten in San Fran this week
I am planning an interview with Dr Marten this week and another in Florida, but I am impressed with Dr Martens results.
My only concern is the fat grafting and under neck to the face results. There was a one "real" patient that complained but not sure if real because she was extreme and there was no way to communicate with her. Other than that there are fantastic reviews.
I was interested in getting fat around and under jaw and neck because I'm gaunt and would really like to hear from patients that had negative experiences with Dr Marten or those who thought results didn't last. The board is so helpful.

Dr. Marten is amazing. You won’t regret it. He has amazing results and the fat grafting he does is the icing on a perfect cake. His staff is amazing also.
he is great, the best. A lot of the fat around my mouth area absorbed and did not last on me.I do not regret at all though because that is not his fault and I love how he made my neck look.
Any 'lumps and bumps' from the fat grafting? that is what I'm wary of especially around eyes.

no lumps and bumps at all but really was not worth extra price for me. I was most worried about the fat looking weird and it looked great, just did not last long enough..
HI Gooch! I had my surgery with Dr Marten a few weeks ago. So far, SUPER HAPPY!!!!!! I did get the fat and I am aware that you don't retain most of it, but hoping a little sticks.
Shayda-- I had fat grafting by Dr. Marten last summer. I have some odd and very noticeable lumpiness on my forehead, but am unsure if that's due to fat grafting or the brow lift that he did. Fat grafting on the rest of the face is very smooth (though my upper lip has some asymmetry.)
The office isn't able to get me in for a follow-up of the handful of unacceptable components from my surgery until a year after my surgery date (six months after I contacted them about the issues), which I find troubling. But, overall, the fat grafting is smooth and the fat grafting to the eye area looks natural and flawless.

My mother had the same lumps on forehead after she had a FL and Fat Graft by a local plastic surgeons and an infected lump under one eye.
That’s why I’m so scared after seeing all that.
May I ask about other issues you experienced?
I know Dr. Marten is busy but aftercare and addressing problems is important and I agree with you that one shouldn’t have to wait six months. Did he try to FaceTime you?
May I ask what you ate after surgery (or manage being in a hotel post-op?
I was wondering if I need to buy a portable food blender cause I won’t be able to chew after a FL/ NL and Fat grafts to mouth for awhile.

P.S. also did you need any special pillows to elevate head?
That's really scary that follow up care would take months. All the busiest surgeons prioritise post-op care and concerns. I have a consult scheduled with Dr Marten but this is a red flag.
For me a huge red flag....not interested...it is arrogant and uncaring...
I do not feel that fat transfer was worth the money. It was good for a short time but dissolved quickly. I had it only in my lips.
