Consultation Review: Paid $1,000 for Nothing – Avoid if You Need Serious Care

I paid $1,000 to Prof. Dr. Süleyman Ta? in Istanbul for what was supposed to be a professional online consultation, as he markets himself as a top reconstructive surgeon. Instead, I received a brief 10-minute greeting (after waiting an hour for him to show up) and a polite dismissal by his secretary, after 2 month of waiting for him to study my case, which mostly was about smoothing/reshaping my cheeks with fat after trauma. No proper medical assessment, no discussion of possible solutions—just sent elsewhere without explanation.

If your case isn’t a simple boob job, nose job, or BBL, look for someone more serious.

When I requested a refund for the failed consultation, his secretary, Elvira, bluntly stated that all fees are non-refundable. Basic medical ethics dictate that a doctor should evaluate a patient’s case directly, not refuse discussion through a secretary.

This experience was a waste of time and money, with zero professionalism or respect for the patient. I’m relieved I didn’t end up in his hands—seems like money is the only priority here.
