One more thing...

WORTH IT
[Note: For some reason, the title of my original review says "COAT" even though I definitely wrote "GOAT" lol]

I forgot to mention. One of my favorite outcomes of my revision facelift with Dr. Jacono is that I absolutely love my resting face now. Previously, I had never really liked my resting face. I felt like I always looked upset unless I smiled. Now, my resting face actually looks at rest and I don't even need to smile in order to look rested or approachable. I am loving my results so far and I look forward to the continual improvement as my face and neck continue to heal. I can't recommend Dr. Jacono enough. I don't consider the cost to be an expense; rather, I consider it to be an investment that was well worth it.

The COAT of Plastic Surgery

I can't recommend Dr. Jacono enough. I am just six weeks out from a revision facelift and he performed multiple procedures on me - revision facelift (deep plane facelift), neck lift, upper bleph, temporal brow lift, lip lift, corner lip lift, buccal fat removal, fat grafting in various locations. I considered going to specialists for an upper bleph as well as for the lip lift but I couldn't afford to take all that time off if I saw different specialists. I wanted a surgeon who was a certified expert at performing all the procedures I was interested in and who was also an expert at revision facelift work. (I had SMAS facelift done a few years ago and, while I enjoyed the results for a couple of years, they did not last for as long as I would have hoped.) I ultimately decided on Dr. Jacono because he is truly the MASTER of ALL (facial plastic surgery) TRADES. The GOAT. Truly. There's a reason why other plastic surgeons and doctors (and celebrities) choose Dr. Jacono for their facelifts (e.g., one of the doctors from "Botched" and even Marc Jacobs!). It's pretty rare to find a doctor/surgeon who is extraordinarily skilled and comfortable at performing all the different types of procedures I listed. I think it's almost impossible to find an excellent facelift surgeon who is also able to perform a proper lip lift AND corner lip. Dr. Jacono is one of - if not the only - certified master of all these procedures. (Look at the before/after photos of his patients. The results are remarkable!) Dr. Jacono is also a master in terms of suture placement and ensuring minimal scarring. For example, compared to my SMAS facelift, I have less visible scarring behind my ears even though I had a lot more work done with Dr. Jacono. In terms of the process, I had a couple of video consultations with him before I eventually met him in-person the day before my surgery. I trusted him to make some suggestions about the different types of procedures - including how conservative or how aggressive some of the procedures could or should be. To be honest, I didn't think I was a necklift candidate but, now that I see the results, wow am I glad I listened to Dr. Jacono! Dr. Jacono also has his own beautiful, state-of-the-art surgery center; it's like a secret bat cave behind his office, lol! I was able to spend the night recovering at the surgery center. I then chose to have a nurse (recommended by Dr. Jacono) stay with me for the first few days. The nurse was phenomenol. She not only ensured I took my meds, she also helped to cook the right foods for me and she also helped me to gently clean my face and neck and sutures. Amazingly, I was able to care for myself on my own after Day 3. I had no trouble moving around on my own. Dr. Jacono prescribed certain medications that I picked-up ahead of surgery and brought with me the day of. His staff also continued to administer prescribed medication as I needed (for example, I needed some more meds to help with swelling because I was crazy swollen - which was to be expected as I was a revision facelift). Dr. Jacono also suggested hyperbaric oxygen chamber therapy - which I am so glad I did for approximately 8-10 days after surgery. I really enjoyed it (very relaxing and therapeutic) and I believe it did help expedite my recovery. By the way, Dr. Jacono has THE BEST staff and team. PERIOD. I pestered them so much during my recovery period because I definitely had freak-out moments. (I learned and I experienced that it is very normal to experience "asymmetrical healing," as one side of my body recovered a lot more quickly than the other side. Thankfully, over time, the other side of my body caught-up.) Dr. Jacono and his staff were incredibly patient, helpful, accommodating, and responsive. To be honest, I was initially afraid I might not receive "VIP treatment" because I'm not a celebrity. But, Dr. Jacono and his staff never ever caused me to feel like I was "less than." They always treated me with the utmost care, respect, and compassion. I started to venture out into the world 2-weeks post-op but, personally, my swelling really started to come down sometime between weeks 3 and 4. After week 4, when I was out and about running errands one Sunday, the girl at the check-out counter said to me, "You're really pretty!" Wow, thanks! What's also really fun and funny is how I keep getting called "Miss" when I am at a store or in an Uber or catching a flight. Apparently, that's how young I look! I am incredibly thankful and grateful to Dr. Jacono and his staff. Dr. Jacono restored the youthfulness of my face and neck so that I now look the way that I feel; but, he not only restored the youthfulness, he somehow also preserved my appearance while also beautifying it. I am so pleased with the results and, as I am still healing and recovering, I know they will continue to improve in the next couple of months. I can't recommend Dr. Jacono and his staff enough. Yes, you may pay a premium price - but you get premium results.
