So far, I feel great! Love my results, I think everything looks amazing. Perhaps swelling is totally gone by now. I didn't regret a single day that proceeded this surgery! Dr. Oh is an amazing surgeon and I'm very thankful to him for his work!
Facelift Revision After 10 Years
I initially was thinking about SMAS facelift but during my online consultation after sending my photos was suggested to proceed Deep Plane instead. Was planning to come to Seoul in the beginning of October (2019), so discussed all details (hospitalization, for how long should I stay there, if I’d need a neck lift too, which anesthesia would be used, recovery time, which surgeon would proceed etc.) with my online consultant beforehand to calculate approximate budget for my trip. From the very beginning I wanted to procced this surgery with Dr. Oh as I knew about him from some Youtube videos and in order to make an appointment and book my surgery I sent a deposit (10% of the total surgery cost).
My consultation was on October 1 in the morning. As expected, Dr. Oh acted very professional and pointed out my real issues. I didn’t mention about my previous facelift when was talking to my online consultant (I thought it wouldn’t mean much as I had it more than 10 years ago and all scars already disappeared), but there was nothing that could be hidden from him. He impressed me a lot! Right after our consultation we set a surgery date (luckily for me, he had time on October 4). I went through a complete body checkup (faced a problem with my nails, got it done right before coming to Korea but was asked to remove everything and since I always do gel nails, it was impossible to do myself. So, my consultant made an appointment with her master. It was so nice of her).
On the surgery day I arrived an hour earlier, filled out all necessary documents and went up to change clothes and prepare for the surgery (also was instructed not to eat or drink 10 hours before the surgery). Once everything was ready, I followed my consultant to the operation room and from the moment I was given an anesthesia remember absolutely nothing. By the time I became conscious again I was headed to my recovery room on a wheelchair (later was said that “fought” in the operation room with nurses when they were waking me up, funny but I don’t remember that). I came to Seoul with my daughter, so she was already notified that my surgery finished and waiting for me in my recovery room. I felt no dizziness, no pain, no sickness only tightening on my face. After about 15 minutes I could stand up and went to the restroom myself without any help. A nurse said that I can get lightening, since I felt so good.
On the next day after seeing Dr. Oh I was discharged. We booked Airbnb not for from the hospital and I felt good enough to walk myself. 3 days after I was said to come for dressing, that day drain from my left side was removed (wasn’t told that the drain from the right side was supposed to be removed few days after, so when came home removed it myself thinking that a nurse just forgot). On day 7 I came back for dressing again and when a nurse started to look for something behind my right ear I realized that made a mistake (but didn’t tell her), she sent me for x-rays, called for anesthesiologist and sent for x-rays again and then I finally revealed the truth.
My recovery went really good and very fast. 2 weeks after my surgery all stitches were removed and I could go back to my home country. They organized me a drop off from the apartment to the airport which also was included into the surgery cost. Main swelling by this time was all gone. Bruising was minimal, so I looked really good when came back home and of course all of my friends noticed that.
It’s been 3 months already and I feel great. My results look amazing, minus 20 years at least! Beyond satisfied with the outcome and glad that chose Dr. Oh, he’s a real professional, very skilled and extremely experienced.
