Time for an update

WORTH IT
Some photos taken August 2023. I’m pleased to report the results are holding really well. There’s no sign of any turkey neck or jowls. Dr Kremer did an amazing job.

For information, I continue to maintain a strict skincare routine and this year I switched to using Medik8 products. I’ve been using them 6+ months and my skin feels better than ever.

Sending positivity to anyone scheduled to have surgery.and wishing you the same happiness and confidence that I’ve gained from my surgery.

Wishing good health, peace and love to all.

12 Months Post Op

It has been 12 months since I had the operation and the results are holding well. My neck and the area around my ears still feel tight but certainly not uncomfortable, just reassuring. I have had semi permanent makeup applied to my brows (powder brows), eyeliner and my lips. If it is something you have considered, and can find an experienced artist, then I would recommend it! I returned to Dr Kremer to have Blepharoplasty on my upper lids in January this year and am delighted with the results of that surgery too. If I get time I will write a separate review for that.

Your chin and neck before is identical to how I look now. I have already tried a mini facelift and the effects of that lasted only a year . I have tried Botox on the platysmal bands and that does nothing. Your results look amazing. Can I ask if they are still holding up after what appears to be 18 months? Has any chin sagging returned? I would love my chin and neck to look like yours but if it's not going to last I wonder if it's worth it.
Hi there
Thank you for the compliment. It has been 17 months since my operation and so far I have no sign of any sagging around my jaw, chin or neck. My face and neck continue to feel reassuringly tight. From my own experience it has been been worth it and the best outcome I could have hoped for. The sagging has completely gone and without looking stretched or unnatural. I suspect that eventually the skin will begin to sag again but I think that’s unavoidable as ageing skin loses collagen. I like to think that when that time comes it won’t be as bad as it would have been had I not had the facelift. In the meantime I keep a strict skincare routine doing everything I can to try and prolong the results. So far, so good.
You look beautiful. Dr K is on my list. So glad everything worked out ok for you.
Hello dear, do you still like your result?

Cleansed and No make-up @ 24 weeks post op

I took these photos today (24 weeks post op) with fleshly cleansed skin and no makeup to provide a good record for future comparison. They clearly show the fronts of my ears where incisions were made which are now virtually invisible.
I think it’s important to remember everyone heals differently and I have been fortunate that my wounds have healed so well. FYI I take high strength vitamin C daily and apply bio oil to keep my scars hydrated which may of helped, albeit it’s impossible to know for sure.

Gorgeous! You must be so happy :-)
You were stunning before & of course after!
WoW! You look 20 yrs younger! Lucky!
One of the best results I've ever seen. You look great. I had also a face and neck lift nearly 4 weeks ago (I am 52) and I am very satisfied. Don't know what it will look like later
Hi, can I please ask you 2 quick questions? Do you have any scars now or are they all 100% invisible? Are you 100% happy with the work, and has it held up? thanks!
Apologies for taking so long to respond.
As I write this it is 8 months and 2 weeks since my operation. I have no visible scars around the front of my ears where incisions were made. Without very close inspection it is extremely difficult to see the scars behind my ears and those which track into my hair. I regularly wear my hair up and unless someone knew of my surgery I genuinely don’t believe they would take a second look, or guess I had been under the knife. I am still extremely pleased with the outcome. Right now my jawline remains defined and my neck still feels comfortably tight, which I find reassuring. When I refer back to my before pics (regardless of the unflattering angle) the surgery has greatly improved my facial contours and has renewed my self confidence. For information I now regularly use a Swiss Clinic dermaroller before applying NIOD hyaluronic acid. I feel this is helping to maintain the results and given me a more uniform skin tone. I hope you find my response helpful. I plan to take new photos and upload them at 12 months post op.
