WORTH IT
The picture on the left is a before picture taken a week before my surgery. The picture on the right was taken exactly 4 weeks after my surgery. I have a bruise under my left eye and on my left cheek that are taking their good ol time going away. I was really hoping all my bruises would be gone by the end of my 4th week. I honestly can't believe the difference already and I still have a lot of swelling.

I'm finally starting to feel a little better. It was a rough week! In the past 4 weeks I've had a breast lift, my first Covid vaccine, and a neck and face lift. My poor body has been hating life! Had my 1 week post-op follow-up today. Surgeon is happy with how my recovery is going and so am I. The numbness in my temple area is starting to go away but sides of my face, cheeks, and neck are still totally numb. Bruising really started to set in on day 4. The swelling is not fun. Was a little concerned with these ripples that started popping up on both sides of my chin as well as underneath my chin. My surgeon told me not to worry, that will go away. It's from the swelling. I'm very happy with how good the incisions on the front of my ears look. Here are some pictures 7 days post-op.

Three days after my surgery I was able to remove all my bandages. I couldn't wait to get all the dressings off because I was so uncomfortable. I was able to shower and wash my hair which was so gross. Here are a couple pictures I took right after removing bandages. My neck is so tight, which I know is how you want it to be. My neck and face are also completely numb. Lots of swelling!
