WORTH IT
A 49 year old who was becoming increasing fixated on my turkey neck and marionette lines . I wanted to reverse time with a very natural rejuvenation . My dr , Mr Southwick in Melbourne , gave me everything I wanted and more . My confidence levels are back to where they were and I’m loving life already . It’s only been 11days since surgery so still a lot of settling to go.

Thanks for pictures. Same age and considering exact same procedure. Was it done using general or local anesthesia?

Hi VvA, I had general . The surgery took 4 hours . Personally I would not want t be awake .

wow you look great and seem to be healing so well!! so good to see an Aussue review! Was thinking noone glad had facelifts a here!! Imbooked in for same procedures in January and and tarting to freak out! Did you have a platymaplasty? Or just the neck lift from behind ears?? My surgery is at end of Jan and my daughters getting married in May so stressing over healing!! Thanks for sharing!

Wow you look amazing! So great to read an Aussie review! We seem to do things a little different here!! Your scars look amazing! I hope you not mind?? But I took photo of your first day after to my surgeon on Tuesday for my final consult for surgery in January asking if I would look as good as you! Especially the stitching -he said Dr Southwick was his buddy( not exactly in those words!) I was particularly worried about the ones at temple as I am bleached blonde and worry how I will disguise them but yours look great! How are the scars now?? Did you have any fat grafting???

Thank you to those who have commented . It’s been 2 months today and I’m still really pleased . The swelling and tightness in the neck area has completely gone . I still have numbness round the ear and lower cheek area but it doesn’t bother me . Sorry for the brief update . Happy to answer any questions you may have :)

Awww thank you , you’re gorgeous :) I didn’t have any skin treatments but dr has put me on Retin A cream which is really improving the texture of my skin . He still wants me to have 5 sessions of Fraxel this year . Will see if the budget allows for it :)

When I embarked on this journey I had it in my head that I wanted to look good by New Years Eve .. my coming out party let’s say ???? I was pretty happy with the outcome . I was sceptical when the dr assured me the results will keep improving but I think he was right :)
