He has gone above and beyond what I expected as a patient

I lost over 100# in a year and a half, and at nearly 50 the weight loss is awesome, but the after is less than desirable. I aged 15 years in 15 months. So, I inquired about non surgical options to help with the turkey neck and hanging jowls making me look and feel old and crabby, and due to the extensive skin etc and no fat left in my face, ult therapy and other options just wouldn't do it.

I had a 2/3 lower face lift, neck lift and upper and lower eyelid surgery, 15 days ago. Dr. Lipschitz is amazing. From the start of "surgeon evaluating" to surgery, to post op he has gone above and beyond what I expected as a patient! I chose him initially because of all the surgeons I went to for evaluation (all had credentials etc), he was the most in depth with explanations of procedures and expectations, he answered all my questions without rolling his eyes (believe me I ask a lot, I come to him with my "lists"), and he made me feel like my surgery was as important to him as it was to me.

For my very 1st experience with a plastic surgeon, I will have to say he has ruined me towards all others. He is the total package. I went into this surgery with as much knowledge as possible. Videos, patient accounts, reading text about before and after care. I even watched an entire deep plane facelift and neck lift. I knew what to expect .. physically. Dr. Lipschitz (and his staff, which by the way is top notch) also made me aware of the mental side of what I was getting into. Not one other surgeon mentioned that I could feel dysmorphic, depressed etc. during recovery. He stressed these factors to both myself and my husband (my support staff at home lol), and his surgical coordinator (who happens to be a surgical nurse) also wrote a paper on the potential mental issues I could face, and how to work through them. He came in on Thanksgiving morning to look at my sutures and make sure I was okay. He and I text daily, I send him pics to update him daily, and if I've not texted early enough for his liking, he texts me to check in to make sure I'm okay.

For my first plastic surgery (I've already started planning the next surgery for skin removal with him in 6 months) I will say this was a piece of cake. Recovery has been pretty much exactly as he said it would be. I was actually back to work on day 5 (office job).

If I could give him 10 stars I would.
