Day 3 face, neck & brow lift - less swelling & bruising than I expected

Day 12 Update
WORTH IT
Today is day12. I get the rest of the sutures out on Thursday. I have a little bruising left but is easily covered by tinted moisturizer and a concealer. I still have some swelling from my cheek bones to my ears as well as a little numbness. My neck is a little swollen and tender behind my ear area but it hasn't even been 2 full weeks.

I felt as though I was in experienced hands when I scheduled my face, neck and brow lift with Dr. Salomom. I am three days out of surgery and feel great. I have less swelling and bruising than I would have expected. Any pain that I have experienced could best be described as only discomfort. Tylenol is the only medication that I've needed.
The day following the proceedure, I had the bandages removed and a lymphatic massage. This was fantastic and provided great relief in terms of swelling and stiffness. I had another the following day. I believe this helped tremendously because I normally swell and bruise a great deal. My third massage and a follow up with Dr. Salomon is on Monday, May 2nd. I will post updates to follow the progress of my results.

Wow you are looking amazing for day 3. I'm booked to have mid-face lift, eyes and neck lift next week. I am concerned about how long it will take before I can go out in public.
How is the bruising and swelling now as I have heard it can take 3 weeks before it might show. Thanks Annmarie :-)

I am on day 7. I still have swelling and soreness... not bad though. I tried to cover the bruising with makeup but I kinda looked like a corpse. I decided to embrace the bruises as they are a pretty Caribbean blue green and go well with my eyes! I'm going out to dinner in 3 days. I normally bruise easily, and it takes quite a bit of time to subside, but I'm going anyway.
The lymphatic drainage massages at Dr. Salomon's office helped tremendously with the swelling. He suggests 6, half hour sessions. I was very swollen initially, but after the first massage, I was provided an amazing amount of relief. Best wishes on your surgery.
