Absoluely What I Wanted....Natural Results, Real Improvement, Virtually Painless.
WORTH IT
I've been getting regular botox and fillers for many years. But moved to rural France last year and hadn't found anyone I trusted for cosmetic dermatology. So after a full year of nothing in my face, I saw what it REALLY looked like, and was not happy. So for my 50th birthday this year I decided to get the facelift I've been considering for a few years.
I chose Dr Alexandrides after consultations with three other surgeons, and was drawn to his natural aesthetic and easy manner. He seemed to completely understand not only what I wanted, but also my concerns. The booking and pre-op teams were excellent, and even though I was travelling internationally for the surgery, I felt totally at ease. The day of the surgery went exactly as planned and my recovery was surprisingly easy. I took the pain meds just two times!! On day 4 I was comfortable enough to travel to his office for follow-up and LED healing therapy (yes I was swollen and looked a bit crazy, but not in pain).
I had a his signature 'Y-lift' face and neck lift along with an upper eye lift and a little fat transfer in my cheeks. The procedure was in February 2022, and 4.5 months on I am thrilled. My result is very natural, and exactly what I wanted. My husband says I look like I did when I was 40 (ten years ago). My best friend says 36! I've recently seen some old friends and they have all commented on how great I look and that living in France has really agreed with me. But no one has guessed I had surgery. Even my scars have diminished quickly.
The only downside is some lingering numbness in my neck and ear area, but I know it's normal and it seems to be fading a bit each week.
Overall I highly recommend Dr Yannis and his team. This was not my first cosmetic procedure, but it was the first on my face and I was quite nervous for the result to be natural and not too dramatic. I am thrilled with the result and the whole experience.
