WORTH IT
3 months later… still seeing signs of healing and improvements. Much of the numbness has gone away but still have some on my ears and side of face near the ears. Scars have faded but still a little visible but not red. The swelling around my eyes is almost completely gone and I can wear makeup now. I stopped wearing the corset at 6 weeks. Still using the Arnica gel twice per day and drinking pineapple juice, celery juice and saffron tea. Pretty much everyone has noticed the change even those I haven’t seen in 3 months. I think I look less tired and a bit younger. Also got rid of my RBF which makes me very happy.

Amazing Experience

I did a lot of research before I chose a doctor for my facelift. He did not disappoint. Dr Örero?lu gave me the results I was looking for. We came up with a plan that we both agreed on and he did exactly what I wanted. I basically wanted a natural rejuvenated look so I looked less tired and mad. I has upper and lower blepharoplasty revisions, temporal lift, deep plane facelift, fat grafting and lip lift. The doctor and staff worked with my travel schedule so that I could make my flights and tour schedules. The hospital was a bit out of the way, but beautiful and accommodating. I had a private room with bathroom for me and my husband. The doctors assistants were with me the entire time to make sure a knew where to go and how to catch a cab. The recovery was one night in hospital then we moved to a great little hotel (Roomers) walking distance to the clinic which was very convenient and quiet with lots of little authentic Turkish restaurants, coffee shops ( and chai) and a small grocery store. The first 3 days after surgery were very uncomfortable since I had so many things done at once, I couldn’t see, talk or eat. But by day 4, everything started to turn around and I could tell I was on the way back to healing. I always felt like I was in great hands between the doctor, the hospital, the nurses and the aids, they were all very good. I am now at week 7 and am feeling more confident to go out and see people. I still have a little swelling, but not much. A few recommendations for anyone looking to do a destination surgery…1) bring someone with you to help you 2) give yourself a couple of extra days for recovery just in case your stitches aren’t quite ready to come out 3) stay near the hospital the night before surgery (terrible traffic) 4) stay walking distance to the clinic after surgery 5) plan on taking it easy for a few weeks afterwards and drink your pineapple/celery juice

Yes. Still very happy. It’s still less than 3 months post op so I can still see improvements. Definitely take a buddy!
