6 Months Later and Loving It
I am extremely pleased with my facelift. It's been 6 months and he did a wonderful job.
I am at the 6 month mark of my facelift with Dr. Stein. I am extremely pleased! He did an excellent balance between my wanting to look natural and look like myself as well as not being so subtle, that it wasn't worth the work.
I was concerned about it looking one way or the other, but it is perfect.
I am 61 and look so much younger. I no longer have bags under my eyes and the sagging skin and jowls I had before my procedure.
Dr. Stein is direct in his communication and on what can and can not be achieved. He is an excellent, experienced surgeon. He was one of the three highly recommended surgeons that I consulted for my facelift. I felt very comfortable with him, but I will say that his style is more surgical. The other two were very warm and empathetic but ultimately, the skill is the ultimate decider.
While the staff were all wonderful, there could be more attention to what you and your caregiver will experience in the first 72 hours. It was after surgery that my husband learned he would need to drain the tubes every couple hours for the night. It is not pretty! We expected the first 24 hours to be rough, but it was still really rough for over 48 hours. I would not have been able to care myself had my husband not been able to work from home the next two days. Having had three emergency abdominal surgeries in my life, I believed I was prepared for the rigors of recovery.
A facelift is is not for the faint hearted.
However, the results are so great that it was absolutely worth it.
