Be careful - slightly strange effect at the corner of my eyes

ORIGINAL POST

Be Careful

If I'd left a review for up to around a year post surgery it would have been super positive. However I now have a slightly strange effect at the corner of my eyes which I think comes from where the lax skin of my eyelids meets the tighter skin treated in the facelift.
I got a second opinion yesterday and was told that I just had a classic skin tightening facelift rather than a deep plane facelift and that Dominic Bray isn't a qualified surgeon.
My only option now is to wait for the skin that was tightened in the facelift to become lax again and then the problem should resolve.
I'm a little disappointed.

Did you ask Bray why this happened? What did he say? Will he fix it? And this issue just appeared now after one year? I am sorry you are unhappy.
I haven't mentioned it to him because I've lost trust in him unfortunately. The surgeon who gave me the second opinion said it might make things worse by trying to fix it now. Yes the problem only really become noticeable after a year. I think it's happened because Domimic Bray lifted the skin at the corner of the eyes but not the skin on the eyelids. So there is now quite a lot of loose skin where the eyelid skin has continued to age and sag.
To me it looks like you would benefit from a slight brow lift. Did you have that done as part of your procedure? If yes you should have a temporal incision, I believe that's how he does that. Unfortunately that doesn't really last either. How is your face holding up apart from the issue? If he is doing a skin only facelift it should fall soon like it did for some others who recently left their reviews.
No he didn't do a brow lift.
So far the rest of the face is okay. I think it may look very slightly stretched but I'm not sure if that's just my imagination. There are also a few wrinkles at the side of my forehead which look a little bit unnatural and a tiny bit of bunching on one side of the temples but I doubt anyone apart from me will notice that. My platysma bands have re-appeared to an extent but I'm not concerned about that as my neck's still better than before.
Hi,

Sorry to hear that. Have you got an instagram please ?
No I'm afraid not
My doc said on a consult that without bleph, my upper face would be a mismatch to lifted lower face. Perhaps a blepharoplasty would help. Also recommends brow lift and mid-face fat transfer for a more balanced look. It's a lot though.
Best if luck to you.
