Skin devoid of all melanin & neck under chin is lopsided after facelift & laser

ORIGINAL POST

Face lift gone wrong

$12,000
Back in January 2016 I had a face lift along with a facial laser treatment performed by the 'good' Dr Mulholland. The experience has left me deeply traumatized. I can no longer go out and enjoy the sunshine because my facial skin is now devoid all melanin. I must now wear hats and sun block to protect my face from UV light as I now have an increased risk of skin cancer. When I contacted him about THIS problem, it took over a month for him to respond. He didn't even want to see me, instead he emailed me and tried to pass(?) me on to another doctor. Nice, eh?
That's not the finish, but only the beginning. My neck under my chin is now lopsided as result of his surgery. Quite ugly. I wear a beard now and even that does not cover the extent of his botched handiwork. And then there are my ears, he buggered up the area called the tragus in front of my ears; he left way too much fat attached to the underlying skin that attaches to the area in front of my ears. It looked ridiculous, just awful, and he had me wait almost a year to correct the issue. Being a male and having such obvious signs of a face lift was embarrassing and extremely stressful. When he finally got around to fixing the issue, he had the gall, the nerve to say I was being obsessive; to add insult to injury he charged me yet another $2,600 to perform the corrective surgery.
You want to know what Dr Mulholland really excels at? Why he's tops in bedside manners. I give him a ten out of ten.
As far as most of his staff are concerned (keep in mind this took place six years ago), terrible. I had issues leaving messages after messages with no return calls. A horrible, horrible frustrating experience. Not that all the staff was appalling and lax because there were some that were very dedicated and competent; like the kind, honest nurse downstairs at the clinic that told me that I would have to wear a hat outside and avoid the sun (not that I believed her, because it took 18 months before my skin lost its natural color)
Well, there you have it. I apologize for not having written these comments regarding my experience sooner. I suspect I could have perhaps helped others avoid the needless trauma and stress and in my opinion of Dr Mulholland's gross ineptitude.
