Lack of Empathy
Very Disappointed with Dr. Robert Ersek
I had a facelift and chin augmentation with Dr. Robert Ersek in March 2024, and I am extremely unhappy with the results. Not only did the procedure disfigure my face, but Dr. Ersek's treatment of me throughout the process was disrespectful and lacked any empathy.
When I expressed my concerns about the outcome and explained how I was feeling, Dr. Ersek’s response was less than reassuring. He simply said, "I am human and make mistakes," while rolling his eyes. That response did nothing to ease my distress, and I was left feeling like my concerns didn't matter to him at all.
I initially sought Dr. Ersek’s help after a previous doctor failed to deliver results on a different procedure. Dr. Ersek advised me to ask the previous doctor for a refund, assuring me that if they were ethical and reputable, I would receive one. To his credit, my previous doctor did refund the money, but when I asked Dr. Ersek’s assistants, Angelica and Ashly, about getting a refund for the procedure that went wrong, they assured me I would be refunded as well. They claimed to have experience with such situations. However, months later, I received nothing, and I was made to feel like I was the problem.
I paid for a procedure that only left me with sagging skin, a deformed chin, and a much older appearance. To make matters worse, I received a letter from Dr. Ersek stating that he would no longer be my doctor. All I wanted was to improve my appearance and receive some empathy during a difficult time, but instead, I experienced poor customer service, a lack of professionalism, and a doctor who seemed uninterested in helping me.
After months of trying to reach out for a refund, my calls were ignored, and I never received a single penny back. Please think twice before choosing Dr. Ersek. I feel I entrusted my care to someone who is too focused on their own reputation and not the well-being of their patients.
