Great Experience, Very Happy with Results!
WORTH IT
After meeting with a few different surgeons, I chose Dr. Brandon for my face lift, neck lift and blepharoplasty. I am thrilled with the results! Wish I had done it sooner! (Especially because my recovery has been faster and less painful than I expected).
My meetings with other surgeons felt rushed and impersonal. Sometimes I felt pressured - even insulted!
My meeting with Dr. Brandon was very different. He is confident and incredibly capable, but there is no hint of the arrogance I encountered with every surgeon I met before him. Rather, he is mild mannered and approachable. He is also very patient, listens intently, and takes time to explain and answer questions.
I felt as if Dr. Brandon saw me and treated me as an individual, not one of many interchangeable patients. I am convinced this really matters! My procedure choices, my outcomes, my recovery- all considerably benefited from Dr. Brandon's understanding of me as an individual, not just patient #1234.
Dr. Brandon's staff is great too - all very kind and attentive and accommodating.
My friends and family were worried that I wouldn't look like myself following the surgery. I wasn't especially worried, because Dr. Brandon described his approach as conservative, and the many before/after pics I saw confirmed it. I'm happy to report that my friends and family are all relieved. And they're very impressed by the outcome! I look at least 10 years younger, and in some subtle ways I look better than I ever have. But I still look like myself.
People who don't know I've had surgery have commented that wow I look great, but they can't quite figure out why. I'll often share that I've had surgery, and everyone is shocked by this, expecting it would be obvious. I'm a walking billboard for Dr. Brandon- many people have asked for his name after learning I had surgery. (This is only 6 weeks post-op!)
It's a really big decision, choosing a cosmetic surgeon. Especially for the face! Can't hide it. I originally thought I'd speak with 10 surgeons before selecting one. But after meeting with Dr. Brandon, my gut instinct was to stop searching and choose him. My gut was right.
(Side note: though it didn't influence my decision to go with Dr. Brandon, the total cost was more reasonable compared to some others.)
