Not a Good Experience Still Dealing with Many Issues
Facelift, Brow Lift, and Lower Blepharoplasty with Dr. Zoran Potparic – A Deeply Disappointing Experience
I don’t often write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience to help others make informed decisions. I underwent a facelift, endoscopic brow lift, and lower eyelid blepharoplasty with Dr. Zoran Potparic. Unfortunately, the results and overall experience were deeply disappointing.
To begin with, I want to acknowledge the exceptional staff at Dr. Potparic’s office. They were consistently kind, professional, and attentive throughout the process. However, my interactions with Dr. Potparic were starkly different. I found him to be lacking in empathy and professionalism, especially when I raised concerns about my surgical outcomes.
Post-surgery, I experienced significant complications with the brow lift and lower blepharoplasty. I was left with entropion and visible bubbles on my eye, and Dr. Potparic himself admitted that the brow lift “did not take.” Even 10 months later, my eyes look worse than before the surgery, and I now need to spend more money with an ocular plastic surgeon to correct the damage.
When I tried to discuss these concerns, Dr. Potparic was dismissive and unwilling to listen. After I sought a second opinion from another board-certified plastic surgeon, his demeanor became hostile. He abruptly ended our appointment, telling me I had “made up my mind,” rather than engaging in a constructive dialogue or offering any resolution.
There was no meaningful effort to address or correct the issues, and I was left feeling unheard and unsupported during a vulnerable time. Facial surgery is a deeply personal and impactful decision, and I strongly caution anyone considering procedures with a surgeon who does not specialize in facial plastic surgery or demonstrate a genuine commitment to patient care.
I continue to deal with neuropathy and nerve damage, and the emotional toll has been significant. If you're considering facial plastic surgery, please seek out a surgeon who combines technical expertise with compassion, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach. Do your research and choose someone who specializes exclusively in facial procedures and stays current with modern techniques. BTW he does not do Deep Plane Facelifts just do your research.
