Gifted Surgeon, Excellent Experience

I am 53, I had a deep plane neck and face lift with a lateral brow lift, fat transfer and some light CO2 laser around my mouth and under eyes. I could not be happier with the results and the experience. Everyone at the office and surgical center were super kind and accommodating. The surgery experience was smooth and easy. I went to their recommended after care facility for one night, I am very glad I did that. Getting over anesthesia is always a little trying for me and I was happy to have nurses bringing me water and smoothies and walking me to the bathroom and so on. Chewing does not feel great for a couple days, fyi. I took a car service home the next morning after seeing Dr Ziai, who came to the aftercare place to check on me. I had very minimal bruising under my chin and back of my thighs (where they took the fat for the transfer) and a little bit under my eyes. The chin and thigh bruises were gone in a week. Under the eyes took a bit longer. There are super clean incisions in my hairline, behind and along the front of my ears, a small one under my chin - the stitches came out in a week. I was able to take care of myself with no problems and took only tylenol for mild discomfort for the first couple days. I didn't need anything after that. I did hire a dog walker for a week and I made sure to clean and stock the house with food before surgery day so I didn't need to go anywhere. I also did a couple hyperbaric chamber sessions and a few lymphatic drainage massages to reduce the swelling on my face during the first 3 weeks of recovery. I went back to work a week after the surgery and no one noticed a thing on zooms and site visits (I mostly work remotely). There was of course some swelling but not enough to be noticeable to strangers, or at least no one said anything. My incision scars were covered by my medium length hair. I have my neck from 25 years ago back and a tight jawline that honestly I probably never really had, lol. I am one month into recovery, still have a tiny bit of swelling under my chin that only I notice. Some tightness but no discomfort. The scars are very thin and flat, I am confident they will fade with time. Dr Hedyeh is super talented, very bright, funny and kind. She is extremely responsive, she texts often to check in and schedules many follow ups to monitor recovery. I have had ACL replacement, breast reduction, gallbladder removal surgeries - this was by far the best and easiest experience.
