The GOAT!
The heartfelt appreciation and affection that I hold for Dr. Pancholi and his staff are boundless! Dr. Pancholi’s medical skills and artistic talent are second to none. I see him as the Michelangelo of cosmetic surgery, the GOAT, and a Las Vegas treasure.
He and his staff went above and beyond what I expected every step of my journey to self-improvement. I felt safe, expertly cared for, and valued. Following my surgery, I have shed more tears of joy than I could have ever imagined, and I am not one who cries at trivial matters. I am not just pleased with the results; I am ecstatic, shout-from-the-rooftops, deliriously euphoric. It has been nearly five weeks since my surgery, and I still feel high from the transformative experience.
For decades, I had despised my fat, saggy face, a pathetically un-chiseled profile, and a gigantic turkey-waddle of a neck. I did not have just a double chin, I had a quadruple one (thanks, Dad). I hadn’t seen my Adam’s apple or the contour of my jawline in at least 20 years. I am all for self-acceptance, however, I knew that I could try to accept these confidence-crushing features ‘till the cows come home, and it was just not going to happen. I avoided mirrors and offered to be the photographer rather than be in photos. What I had to accept was that I allowed my face to zap the gusto out of my professional and social lives and that I did not feel as old and unattractive inside as I looked on the outside.
I called two cosmetic surgery offices on a three-day weekend, and only Dr. Pancholi’s office returned my call. I thought I needed a laundry list of cosmetic procedures to make me happy with my face. It was a fateful moment when Dr. Pancholi told me that I needed a facelift and a fat-transfer procedure only, and that the cost would be significantly lower than the cost of all the procedures I thought I required. How many doctors talk you out of spending more money than you are willing to spend? That is exactly what Dr. Pancholi did, while at the same time providing a window to his ethical compass and warm soul.
It was clear to me that Dr. Pancholi was more than comfortable performing the procedures I needed. He allowed me to ask a plethora of questions to help me make my decision. I am sure he had heard my questions a thousand times before from other patients, but he never made me feel silly, and he never made me feel rushed. How many doctors can you say that about?
Following a seven-hour surgery (this was no drive-by facelift) filled with medical precision and meticulous attention to artistic detail, Dr. Pancholi phoned me at home later that evening to check on me. Again, this was not expected or requested, but it was oh-so-kind and comforting.
Every time I had an appointment at Dr. Pancholi’s conveniently located yet extra-private offices, I was greeted with warmth and concern by his very able staff. I could call and/or text between appointments and almost instantly receive a response.
Just today, I met with Dr. Pancholi and his ultra-competent nurse Nikki. I brought a list of fourteen after-care questions which were all answered adeptly and patiently.
It is one thing to be over the moon with the outcome of your cosmetic surgery, which I obviously am. It is another to delight in your fresh look while, throughout the process, gaining enormous respect and admiration for your extraordinary doctor and his remarkable staff.
I wish I had given myself this life-changing gift decades ago. I feel unable to adequately express my overwhelming gratitude to these bighearted, awe-inspiring professionals. I am so fortunate to have chosen Dr. Pancholi and his staff!
