Lower-face lift with fat graft
I am a 42 yr old thin female and started noticing my neck was starting to crepe and look like a Turkey. The surgeon's I interviewed said this was because of fat loss in my cheeks. In October, I underwent a lower-face lift with fat graft to improve my neck, fill out my cheeks and smooth out skin. I live in Northern CA and the procedure was expensive - 18k. Post surgery, the fat graft did not heal evenly so I looked like an alien for a few weeks with my left side much bigger than the other, which I was told was normal. I had minimal pain, bruising and swelling post surgery. I am now 3.5 months out and the fat graft has mostly evened out but since only about 30% of the fat survives the fat graft my face and left side of my neck do not look as smooth as it did the first month. This has been a bit disappointing give the expense. If at six months I am still not satisfied I will do another day transfer to get my desired result. Hope this is helpful!
