On 25 April I had a facelift and neck lift performed by Mr Dan Marsh of the Plastic Surgery Group, London. I stayed at the BMI Cavel Hospital in Enfield overnight.
From start to finish the care was tremendously professional and I was very well looked after.
The anaesthetist was excellent and the whole thing went smoothly.
Mr Marsh came to see me before the op and mark my face and checks that I was ok.
I woke up about 4 hours later with no drains and my head wrapped in bandages. Mr Marsh popped in to see me the following morning to take off my bandages and make sure I was ok. HR cleared me to go home.
I went home and waited everyday for the bruising I was expecting but it never happened! I was a little swollen and my ears and sides of my face were numb. I only got one tiny bruise on the left side of my neck.
3 days later I was in the car driving to Tesco to get my shopping! I felt really well. I followed the instructions to a tee and never overdid it. I slept upright for a week and used my cream on my scars as advised. After a week I realised that I wasn't going to get any bruising ! I couldn't believe it.
I expected to look like Frankenstein to be honest but my face looked great.
I had my stitches removed on day 5 and that's was a breeze, never felt a thing.
Now I'm 2 weeks out and my face looks fantastic. My jowls have gone and been replaced with a smooth jawline and my neck looks fabulous.
I cannot recommend Mr Marsh enough, he has done a fantastic job, and in so glad I chose him to do the work on my face.
I had several consultations with quite a few plastic surgeons before I chose him. I am very fussy and after this is my face and I didn't take this whole thing lightly.
I was fully confident that Mr Marsh would do a great job.
He did a fantastic job and was very open and honest throughout, he told me what to expect all the way through the whole process.
We are both amazed at my recovery - I am 60 years old in a few days time. . . But thanks to Mr Marsh I don't look it !
I would highly recommend him to anyone considering facelift surgery. He is the best !

Thanks for sharing your pics, also Dr Marsh is a new name to me. Is there fat grafting with his lifts or is that done later?

Wow! You look fabulous! I’m really wanting this but I’m really apprehensive. Seeing your progress has given me hope. I live in Hertford so locality is ideal for me. Beautiful!
