Only one week since my procedure - amazed at the results

FINAL Before & After Pictures From Dr. Mendelsohn-Facelift, CO2 Laser & Upper Blepharoplasty

WORTH IT
Okay, here is the Final BEFORE & AFTER pictures taken at Dr. Mendelsohn's office. These were just taken last week after my 3 month post op visit. I received them today, and I guess I must say, I was quite shocked! Oh my!! I knew I looked very tired and old, but I didn't realize that I looked quite that bad! "A picture tells a hundred words!" No wonder so many of my business clients kept insinuating about my "advanced age" and asking when I might be retiring, which I have no interest in doing at this point!! Wow....weight loss had hit my face so hard!! The procedures were so worth it!! Thanks to everyone on realself for your encouragement and support, and I wish you all the best! I hope you are able to make the decision to fulfill what makes you feel better about yourself. It has sure helped my self-confidence. It was a big decision, including financially for me. Best wishes!! Also, thanks a billion times to Dr. Mendelsohn and his wonderful, supportive staff!!

Wow what a beautiful result!! It also looks very natural. May I ask, did he do anything to your check area? That looks really nice as well!
Thank you!! Yes, he did work on my cheek area. During the initial consultation we discussed my jowls that were hanging down on both sides of my chin. I was shocked when he said that they were actually my cheeks that had dropped down! He said he was going to place them back to my cheeks where they originally were when I was younger. He also mentioned that when he worked with the SMAS for replacement, he may also add more cheek volume too with how he will perform the placement of the SMAS tissue. I am very pleased with the results on my cheeks. When younger, I had nice round high cheekbones. They had become flat and I hardly had cheeks left before the facelift. I had showed him pictures of me in my 30's and my round high cheekbones. He told me he could duplicate that. I just feel like "me" again!!

I'm Delighted with my Results and Looking Naturally Like my Younger Self!

This is an update on my advanced facelift, CO2 Laser treatment, and upper eyelid blepharoplasty done on March 1, 2023. Being 3 months post-op I must say that it has been an amazing experience. I still have some numbness in front of both ears, but my scars on upper eye lids and around the ears are really fading. I've been very happy with Dr. Mendelsohn as my surgeon. He and his staff have been great! They send emails, texts, etc. periodically to monitor my progress and make sure that I know that they are available if needed. I will be seeing Dr. Mendelsohn in a couple weeks for my 3 month "after" photos, and I'll update RealSelf with photos then. My family and friends have remarked how natural my face looks, and one would not know that I had plastic surgery.....other than I look so much younger they say!! If you are contemplating this surgery, I would highly recommend it and Dr. Mendelsohn. It has made a world of difference on how I feel about my appearance and my confidence in my personal and work life. Go for it!!

4.5 weeks post op

Well...it's now been 4.5 weeks since the procedures. Time as really flown. I still have a little swelling and soreness under my cheeks, especially the right side. A couple days ago I saw my dermatologist at Christ Hospital for my annual skin check and she inspected my incisions around the ears. She said she was impressed. It's been quite a journey, but one I don't regret.
