Just Days out of Surgery
Dr. Man is a highly recommended Cosmetic Surgeon throughout South Florida. People fly in from all over which is known, and for good reason! I can say first hand, that Dr. Man has earned his reputation for assuring the very best experience to anyone who has made the decision to have him as their surgeon! My experience was great from the moment I made the first consultation appointment, which was initiated via "online chat" from Dr. Man's website.
The communication is friendly and professional with consistent follow-through via email, phone, and text. Cosmetic surgery is so personal, I felt confident my appointment and information would be confidential as well. My office wait time was limited. They book appointments where you are the one being seen, so there is not any concern with long wait times or more than one or two others in the waiting room.
Dr. Man gives 100% personalized attention and service! We met a few times prior to surgery. Each meeting, he was very detailed and elaborated on all of the information regarding my procedure. Dr. Man would then ask me questions to assure I understood everything as I should! His concern for my understanding was really very genuine and felt good! Post-surgery he called and emailed, and he called until I answered and was able to speak.
My surgery was on a Thursday and my follow-up appointment was scheduled for Monday! He asked me if I could make a Saturday appointment even though the office was closed. It was important to him to confirm my wound care was accurate, and I was properly taking care of myself! Dr. Man was also conscious of my time and knew I had someone waiting for me since I was not to drive yet. He is extremely considerate, he is considering everything all of the time!
I am going into detail with my experience and taking the time to help anyone considering this invasive procedure make the best decision for themselves! Meeting Dr. Man was a pleasure. He immediately understood where I was looking to improve my look! Dr. Man elaborated in regards to the realities of what to expect, the overall physical outcome, as well as side effects, possible complications, and the needed full year to see the actual results. There was a lot of information for the consultation. This made a lot of sense when a second consultation was needed to confirm my surgery.
Once booked and paid, the office staff stayed close. The communication is always just as friendly, professional, and confidential with all paperwork and follow-up appointments. Dr. Man suggested a chin implant. I have had Dr's suggest filler in my chin, declined, and had not even given my chin much thought at all. It is funny that it is the first enhancement I am discussing from this surgery, but I am so happy with the implant. It was a great suggestion and my profile has really improved! At least, I can say for now, going into my third day of recovery.
I can only imagine it will look even better! The surgery went very well! Dr. Man was there waiting when I walked in! That is a much better feeling than sitting with anxiety waiting for him! Dr. Man reviewed each item which included Face and Neck lift, with Blepharoplasty, and Chin implant. He started the IV, and the anesthesiologist arrived shortly after, and then the nurses, and everyone walked to the operating room together. It was an overnight stay with a very comfortable recovery suite.
The overnight nurse was very attentive and just a pleasant person! I just kept talking away while I was waking up, and she responded to everything I was saying and/or asking, and kept with the general conversation. This was not necessary and unexpected in my semi-conscious mental state and she is just really a nice person.
An hour or so post surgery, once I could physically walk, she walked me right into Dr. Man's office. He needed to see I was okay and coming around okay! I did see him again in the morning before I was picked up to go home, he reviewed surgical areas and reviewed my care to go home! As I mentioned earlier his care continues with close communication!
I can already see the results, although swollen, I am healing nicely. A facelift is exactly that, a "lift", not a stretch across which some people believe. My face will look refreshed, not plastic, and I can already see it and so excited for the swelling to go down even more! I will add pictures once I am ready for my "after"!
