WORTH IT
I am 2 months post surgery. I still have a lot of swelling under my neck. I’m looking forward to it going away as time passes. Lots of small lumps & bumps under my neck, I’m sure they will fade over time. Mornings are the worst for feeling like my neck is swollen.

Did your hubby ever find out?
Wow you look so much younger! That's amazing ! Excellent results ! Sure help the swelling subsides soon!!
Beautiful
How are your lumps and scars coming along?
Still lumps & bumps but improving. The scars behind the ear are uncomfortable (itchy & I feel them when I lay down). Hoping it will diminish over time.

3 weeks today
Today will be three weeks. I still have a lot of swelling under my neck and a bit in my face but overall it looks pretty good. My Husband finally saw me over the weekend. He said “you look younger but I don’t know why”.

Slow Recovery
I am updating per Marinak’s request. The recovery is difficult & long. I think it will take a very long time for my neck to feel less swollen. For me, that is the worst part, it’s claustrophobic. The photos were taken on the same day. Just shows what you can hide with hair & little make up. I am only 15 days post surgery & they say it’s a year to heal.

Yes, I agree--the worst part for me was the awful tight feeling in the neck. I was even afraid to turn my head, lest I "loosen" it too much. All I can tell you is that you will feel (and look) better eventually. At 6 wks. post, I still have some swelling in my neck. Seems like that's where it "settles". Any dr. will tell you that you are still early in recovery. At 3mths. you should see most of the final results. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for letting me know. The healing process is like watching paint dry.
Your hair is gorgeous!
Thank you!

Thank you for your update - I hope your swelling resolves soon, do let us know any time how you're getting on.
