Do not go to this Dr in Turkey Istanbul . Obviously is suspended for a reason .. this Dr was referred to me from don’t trust all her referrals do your own research., read the attached it will explain the nightmare I’ve been dealing with since Dec. 2021.. SHAME on this Dr and his wife..These individuals offer zero empathy for US citizens. Go elsewhere or you may end up in my situation.

what happened?
I was botched and still not healed and left with a 3” scar on my throat. I have an Attorney.

Is Dr. Ufuk Askeroglu in Instabul Turkey even a board certified surgeon? All of his 16 review are for 2024 only
THIS! I seriously struggle to figure out how people get any comfort level with a lot of the doctors outside of the US. At least in the US, you can search the ABPS licensing board, as well as various state records. I wouldn't even know where to start truly vetting a doctor outside the US. It seems that people are just going by someone else's results they saw, especially the doctor's social media posts. Problem is, no doctor posts their horrible results, and the one person who refers you might be one of the lucky few, while there is a string of botched cases if you only do some research (which is usually the case). What shocks me though, is there are some people who commented right under another's clearly botched results detailed RealSelf detailed review, yet this other person says something like "...I'm scheduled with this same doc on upcoming xyz date" or something to that effect, indicating they are STILL going forward with that doctor. One such person I saw even went forward and then got botched as well and left their botched review. Just boggles my mind! And it's heartbreaking to see all these terrible experiences!!
This is 100% my thoughts. People, if you see bad reviews, people struggling. Do believe they are real.

This doctor I know they say it is competition that wants them to have bad reviews. It is beyond unethical and pathetic that this is possible in a medical field. And then we're coming back to Turkey. It is NOT the same standard. If you decide to go ahead, ask all the questions, meet them in person, ask for everything. See how you feel. .... but don't let people botch you because it's cheaper (when you are in your home country, it is very easy for them to ghost you)
