Photo Comparison Botch vs. Revision

Photo comparison between Ernest Robinson, MD's, botch to and revision surgery performed by Dr. Balikian. The revision was a relief my face was lifted, look like me, and 10 years young and attractive. The feeling a facelift receipent should have, not a horrified feeling, surgery regret, embarrassed, depressed and avoiding mirrors.

Awful results. Face, neck, liplift. All distorted results. Unnatural facial results which include a lateral midface swoosh, liplift distorted my nose base which distorted the shape of my nose and facial movements. I paid the same person to do a rhinoplasty to correct the nose distortion. How did he not see the distortion was from his liplift procedure. I didn't need a rhinoplasty omg. I need a liplift revision. Horrifying and tramatic experience.

Thank you for posting. Really makes me think twice about getting a facelift.
My advice is to get a deep plane lift and find an expert on that lift. Check their facelift photos and reviews. If they don't have photos and bad reviews. Run. A successful surgeon will have a nice office and large staff working to cater to patient's cosmetic needs. Also their own surgical center. Unfortunately, I chose a surgeon who had non of those qualifications.
Your revision surgery was a massive success, you look so young and beautiful in those pictures. Doesn’t even look like the same person.
Thank you! I am so relieved, I found a skilled surgeon who knew how to correct Dr. Robinson's botched facelift. I was severely depressed for two years walking around with a face that screamed "who botched your face." It was a traumatizing experience.
I am so worried that I might trade in my bad jawline and jowls for a botched face. That will be worse for me! I’m scheduled for FL next week. I’m having another consult Friday when I will have a LOT of questions. I’ve learnt a lot from this site.
Check the doctor's reviews, before and after photos. Look for a surgeon who is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. One that just performs facelift is a for sure professional. That's what I did to be sure the botched facelift Dr. Robinson did would turn out well. If you are in Southern California, I recommend Dr. Balikian. Go with your gut feeling. If it doesn't feel right, cancel.
Let me know how it turns out. There are different types of facelifts. SMAS, deep plane etc. Study the types of face lifts and ask your doctor which one he will perform. A lot of doctors do not know how to do deep plane lifts because it takes skill. 2nd time around I had a deep plane. The botch was a SMAS lift.

Photos before revision and after

I love that my face no longer looks sunken in and the lower part of my face pulled ear to ear. The revision made my face look Fuller and the lower part was lifted appropriately to balance out facial features. A horrible experience it was to get botched in more than one area. Then want to hide your face and not look in the mirror. I do not recommend Dr. Ernest Robinson because of his lack of skill in facial plastic surgery and lack of esthetics.

Dr E Robertson botch corrected results

I had a revision face/neck lift after Dr. Earnest Robinson botched my face. Dr. Balikian, facial surgeon from Murrieta, CA did a fantastic job. I look 10 yrs younger and like I use to! I recognize myself. Dr. Robinson distorted my face giving me a lateral sweep pulled ear to ear. Stretched out corners of my mouth. Before and after pictures show the difference.

Needless to say you should have chosen your revision Dr. in the first place. Great results with your revision. You should be so happy.
Hello maybellineo, thank you for your comment. I am extremely happy with the revision results Dr. Balikian performed. It would have saved me a lot of money and emotional heartache if I had found Dr. Balikian first. He could not revise the lip lift, other doctors did not advise it either. I am stuck with one nostril higher and wider than the other. Basically Dr. Robinson lifted the base of my nose along with the lip lift that also changed the tip of my nose. I am grateful to Dr. Balikian. I will praise him and curse Dr. Ernest Robinson for the rest of my life.
Also to find phantom procedures on your surgical results is the icing on the cake. I would report this Dr. to the medical board to put pressure on him to return yiur money.
The first procedure report, I brought to his attention that there was an inaccurate entry. His response was it's a template. He didn't bother to correct that procedure report. The second procedure report again another inaccurate report. Maybe, I will contact medical board.
Is there any chance of getting an alar reduction on the bigger alar? In time your other alar may drop as the lip lift will in time.
I will ask Dr. Balikian about a alar reduction and details about the procedure.
