WORTH IT
my transformation is pretty shocking, even to me :). The before & after shot is at 1 month. There's still a fair amount of swelling and a very small amount of bruising at that time but easily covered by makeup (see day 31). I think it's worth noting that the healing process isn't a straight line; some days there was more swelling and some days less, but not necessarily in consecutive order. Just give it time for everything to settle. **Worth it to scroll to the end, at 3 months. Pretty amazing, right? GO to Dr. Cohen, his methods give an incredibly natural look. All of my friends are like, "you look so good! and SO natural! Just like yourself only so much younger!" I think it's true, too :)

Gee thanks! I'm thrilled too. I had the works: neck lift, deep plane lower/mid facelift, upper and lower eyelids with fat grafting, and lip lift. I think every single thing was necessary; I waited awfully long to have this done and really felt my entire face needed a comprehensive approach. I omitted a browlift or forehead lift, but would still like to address the forehead lines and fairly pronounced creasing between my eyebrows. I also omitted laser resurfacing because my skin is quite sensitive and I was worried about that. Overall the thing I'd say is that the deep plane facelift gives the most natural result possible, and Dr Cohen specializes in that procedure. I love him :)
Wow you look amazing. You look 20 years younger in the last picture. I'm so happy for you. I actually live 10 minutes away from Dr. Cohen's office. I was planning to have my surgery in NYC in April but your review has me thinking about seeing Dr. C. Can you tell me how your scars are? My biggest worry is getting a surgeon who's a bit old school and doesn't perfect the stitches. The stitches around the temple are my biggest concern. Oh and I almost forgot -- How much was the cost of the Deep Plane Facelift? I'm wondering if the cost is as outrageously high as the NYC surgeons. I hope you continue to heal beautifully. Congrats once again!!

Run Don't Walk to Dr. Cohen!

If you, like me, are hesitant about plastic surgery, please consider Dr. Justin Cohen. I've been anxiously contemplating a facelift or other plastic surgery for over a decade and couldn't bring myself to do it. Enter Dr. Cohen, and I found someone who made me completely comfortable and who's work was beautiful. The experience was was so much less invasive than I expected and the recovery way easier; really only 2 or so intense days after surgery and then it was pretty easy peasy. It's now 7 weeks out from surgery and I cannot believe how great I look--but most importantly, how natural the improvements are. You could not be in better hands.
