Amazing Surgeon, Exceptional Care and a Team I Will Never Forget

If you’ve been thinking about getting a facelift in the U.S., do yourself a favor and book a consultation with Dr. Yilmaz in Turkey. He is truly one of the most talented surgeons I consulted with. Yes, surgery in Turkey can be significantly more affordable than in the U.S., but that absolutely does not mean sacrificing talent, quality, or care.
One of my biggest concerns going into this was that I did not want to change my features or look like a different person. I simply wanted to soften certain areas, look refreshed, and still look like me. Dr. Yilmaz completely understood that—and he nailed it. His attention to detail is incredible, and on top of being an extremely talented surgeon, he is warm and personable. He has a way of making you feel like you are the most important person he is taking care of.
And then there is his staff. They are truly something special. Eden welcomes you with a big hug before you even see the doctor. Buket is the “mama bear” of the office, always looking out for you. Beyza is an absolute angel of a nurse who stays with you at the hospital, and Merve and Yagmur make you feel comfortable and cared for while you’re waiting for the doctor. Everyone has their role, and together they make an amazing team.
And seriously—what other surgeon comes out and hangs out with you in the waiting room just to see how you’re doing? Those little things say so much about the kind of doctor and person he is.
I was also incredibly impressed by the hospitals here. The facilities and level of care were amazing and, in my experience, on another level compared with what I’m accustomed to in the States.
I am so happy I chose Dr. Yilmaz and his team, and I would do it all over again. His results speak for themselves, but the experience and the people made this journey even more special.
If you’re considering doing something like this, why not turn a major life event into an adventure and experience Turkey at the same time?
