I am a 79-year-old female who had a SMAS lower facelift by Dr. Christopher Maloney Plastic Surgery in Tucson, AZ.
I had heard wonderful things from friends about Dr. Maloney. And after some research found an impressive background. He was educated at Columbia University, trained at Harvard, and was a Chief Resident at Massachusettes General. How fortunate to see him in Tucson.
I wasn't disappointed. Dr. Maloney is a skilled, artistic surgeon. At six weeks post-op, I have beautiful, subtle, natural results with minimal scarring. I will see the final results in six to 12 months.
The procedure lasted about two and one-half hours, and Dr. Maloney performed it in his office's operating room under local anesthesia. I was relaxed and awake the entire time, enjoying conversations with Dr. Maloney and his surgical team. I was never in pain and was completely relaxed. I even caught myself napping now and then.
Dr. Maloney's staff is a unified team of well-trained professionals. Everyone treated me with respect and kindness. In addition, Dr. Maloney was available 24/7 after the surgery for any questions or concerns, as was his assistant, Cristina.
