So here I am at 65.
WORTH IT
Just a reminder: I had my surgery on March 28, 2017. Again this is for anyone asking was it really worth it. Every penny! So if you are really wanting a change because your outside look doesn’t match up with how you feel inside. I say go for it. Do your research and find a great doctor.

And here I am at age 62.
I have never had any regret that I decided to have my surgery 6 years ago. Money very well spent even though I had to pry it out of my own hands…LOL
This update is for anyone who may be asking yourself how long will the results last? In my opinion forever because even though you still age as normal, in one day this surgery takes away years. So if the surgery ends up making you look 10 years younger then it will always make you look younger compared to never having the surgery. It is true that having stress can age you. Even though my life has been very stressful these last 3 years I think my results have held up well. If you have questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

I tend to bleed (blood thinners that are used to slow my heart rate down) and swell more than the average person. So looks a lot worse than it is. I did hurt more than I thought I would but this could have been lessened by a lot if I would have taken medication as instructed by my doctor right after surgery. He was very much correct when he said that the over the counter pain medicine (Percogesic) works better a lot of times over the RX medication. After I started taking percogesic my pain was greatly reduced. I hope this helps )
