WORTH IT

I wanted to wait until after my 1-yr follow-up in order to give a well-informed review. I must admit it made me smile all over when I saw my face looking back at me from his landing page here. I had a lower face/neck lift with fat transfer, so you'll have the delight of seeing various versions of my pix in two places. I can vouch that the photos are actuals because I took my own for comparison. (I once left a job for ethical reasons without a plan b in place, and let's just say that I have *feelings* about the possibility of altered pictures of me appearing on the interwebs.) I did my research and was most happy to travel across multiple states to see dr. Law, because I knew my results would give me the refreshed look I wanted, without looking "Done". So many things that I love... 1. The staff are lovely and helpful and fabulous... And also look like real people, not stretched, pulled, blasted or overdone in any way - dr. Law included. 2. They did not try to upsell me - hooray! I am a realist, and certainly open to the input the professionals I seek out. But I'm also a working professional with a budget (and a desire to one day retire!), and I was happy that I was never made to feel uncomfortable when discussing the various options I could consider, along with realistic differences in post-surgical expectations. Big thanks to Amaris for helping me sort it. 3. Mari!!! In addition to having the most beautiful spirit - and accent! - this lovely is the nurse injector magician. She is a true artisan, and I will continue to make the 6+ hour drive to avail myself of her talents. And just in case I ever lose my enthusiasm for said trek, she provides you with a well documented mapping of the whats/how much/wheres. 4. Biggest hugs and a million thank yous to melissa, the most awesome pre- and post-op nurse. Would love to chat you up one day when I'm not knee deep coming/going in anesthesia heaven. 5. Tracy, the girl I've engaged with the most, who kept me engaged and on point - even on the day I literally couldn't get to the office in person for my consult. I was able to get on a call with her and dr. Law and we were ready to roll. 6. The man himself... Dr. Law. Surgeon / photographer / time traveler / the man / the myth / the legend. I met dr. Law in person the afternoon before my surgery & while he had seen the v. Fancy iPhone selfies I sent him in advance, he had never seen any pix of my wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy before self. As an engineer, I have the utmost respect for those with artistic talents... And even more so for those who so successfully marry the arts and science with the incredible skill as that of dr. Law. In the "Things, you really hope won't happen while you're recovering from an elective surgery you may or may not have shared with anyone other than your caregiver" category, I *very* unexpectedly lost my father 2 weeks after said surgery, just after Christmas 2018. And while the state of my face/neck/scars were obviously not anyone's priority, I am happy to report that two of my sisters who are no strangers to medical spa procedures didn't notice a thing... Nor did anyone else. I revealed it to one sister 6 months ago when she suggested having said procedure and asked if I wanted to have anything done w/her. I told the other sister today, 14 months and 3 visits later. Her response was exactly the outcome I was hoping for... "You always look great!". **photograph notes: 1. In the after pix, I had my 7-months later botox injections in my forehead for deep lines, scowl lines, and "Hey, can you give my eyebrows a wee lift right after the pix were taken. So, yes... Mari is magical. 2. The incisions on the sides of my face are along the ridge of the targus line on my ear vs. In front of my ear. #magicianlevelactivated 3. I'm half Portuguese, so I *may* have some fur along the sides of my face to attend to. Con: post-surgery, said fur now grows up & along the ridge of my ears. Pro: I get to go see my favorite Raleigh girls to experience the miracle of laser removal... Which needed to happen, surgery be damned. 4. My face and neck went from 50-yrs to 150-yrs in about 18 months, no joke. I am so thankful to not only have my chin back but to have my face reflect my true age (55 in July) again. Aside from botox at 6 months & the fat transfer at the time of my surgery, I have not had any other work done between the before / after (12 months) pix.

Beautiful results, wow! Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed review with long-term results, impressive!

You are just gorgeous (before and after)! Thank you for writing this detailed review. Did you have general or local anesthesia? Was this a deep plane lift? Also, do you have incisions behind your ears? Your results are amazing!
You look beautiful so glad I did it too
