I’m so pleased with Dr Jeff’s work! He performed a lower facelift which I believe is outstanding! I did NOT want a “blown” look! I wanted a natural, well rested look, and that’s what he provided!! I get so many compliments on how I always look so beautiful and just never change:) Perfect!

hello lovely, he did fat grafting also? Why did you switch from Niamtu? Just more curious thanks

No no fat grafting. Niamtu's office fired me as a client! They were too difficult to deal with, and they were about 8 hours away. Dr Thaxton and I have history. 9 years ago he replaced my implants. Since then he studied and received a Cosmetic Surgeon certification. No small certification. He of course was already a plastic surgeon. Because of the reaction I had, I needed to see him weekly for a while. It was so fortunate I ended up with Dr Thaxton. He and entire office bend over with help and kindness! Niamtu's office is all about the MONEY!!

Worth it even with unforeseen problems! I was 68. Now about to turn 70. I looked it and didn’t like it!

I looked around. I thought going out of town to a bigger city would be best. I went for consultations. Finally I decided to stay here and am I so glad I did!
I experienced an unfortunate and frightening complication that was unexpected! The incisions on both sides of my face actually developed necrosis. This is a complication normally attributed to smoking! I haven’t smoked in 5 years. I was in great health. And, it is Not what you want! It’s been since the end of December and I still have some scars on one side which may need revision. Hopefully not. The outcome is beautiful, and I’m so pleased! But I’m SO glad I stayed in town as I needed lots of follow up and support. So just know bad things can happen when not expected. Even death. Deciding to have surgery should be carefully considered.

Necrosis can happen when the skin is seperated from the muscle which is done in many face lifts
