When the I started the process of finding a surgeon to perform my rhino/septoplasty, I was told by others that I would "know" the right person when I met them - and the minute I met Dr. Ezzat, I knew he was the right person. His experience speaks for itself - I was so reassured by his extensive experience dealing with difficult reconstructive cases, his dual certification in both ENT & Facial Plastics, and his commitment to using the latest techniques in achieving long lasting and NATURAL results. That alone might have been enough to sell me, but then you met him, and realize he is indeed the ideal surgeon. Dr. Ezzat is very approachable, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. He is a genuine person, and speaks to you very directly and in a way that communicates both confidence and consideration for his patients. I loved that this entire experience was focused 100% on achieving the desired functional and aesthetic outcome - no frills, no overpriced fancy surgical offices, no sugar coating or false promises. It's clear when you meet Dr. Ezzat, this is a medical procedure, and treated as such, and Dr. Ezzat makes it clear he is there to hear your concerns then get down to work. I never worried about the outcome - I felt oddly at peace after meeting him, and had total confidence in his judgement and ability. I had a difficult nose to fix - both aesthetically and functionally - and had waited 20 years to finally do the procedure, so I knew I would be happy with any improvement but he absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. I'm only 1 week post-op, and just had my cast removed today, and already adore what I see and feel. This is the nose that I was meant to have - balanced, straight, natural, and FUNCTIONAL. Instead of the nearly sealed shut slits I had for nostrils before, I now have perfectly shaped nostrils that are actually letting air in, a straight airway, and my nose fits my face and features PERFECTLY, even swollen from surgery! I can't believe it will continue to get better and better as weeks and months go by, because even if nothing changed from this point forward, I'm so happy with how it looks. This experience was almost too easy from start to finish - when I called to book my consultation, his very sweet and accommodating coordinator, Carla, found a spot for me the very next week, and on the day of my consultation I booked my surgery for 3 weeks later. One month, from first phone call to his office, to finished product! Dr. Ezzat made himself available any time via email, and personally answered my questions very promptly whenever something came up during the weeks leading up to, and following, surgery. The day of surgery was smooth, and the staff at the surgical center was wonderful - the anesthesiologist sat with me and my husband for quite a while, answering all our questions, and reassuring us. The nurses were fantastic, and recovery was easier than I anticipated with minimal bruising and swelling. When I talked to a friend today about how happy I am with the experience and result, she asked if I was sorry I didn't do this 10 years ago - and I immediately said "Nope. Because it wouldn't have been Dr. Ezzat that did it 10 years ago, and I wouldn't have this amazing outcome." Bottom line, Dr. Ezzat is kind, talented, efficient, and knowledgeable. I agree with a previous reviewer who described him as a raising star in the facial plastic world of Boston - no doubt about it.
