Bad Bedside Manner - Needs to Retire!

I am in my late 50s, maintain a healthy lifestyle, work out regularly, and wear a size 4. During my consultation, Dr. Troell commented that I was 7–9 pounds overweight, which I found surprising and unnecessary. It may have been because I was wearing loose clothing, but the remark felt judgmental and set the tone for the rest of the visit.
I sought the consultation because I have exhausted other options for my under-eye concerns, including fillers, lasers, and other treatments. My goal was to discuss a lower blepharoplasty, as I felt it was the next logical step. Dr. Troell did explain other treatment options and his reasoning, but ultimately he told me he would not take me on as a surgical patient because I had previously received filler.
I respect that every surgeon has the right to decide which patients they feel are appropriate candidates. However, what left the strongest impression on me was his bedside manner. I felt dismissed rather than heard, especially after explaining that I had already tried multiple non-surgical approaches. I was also uncomfortable hearing negative comments about other physicians in the area during my consultation.
I left feeling discouraged and judged instead of supported. While others may have a different experience, mine was not a positive one, and I would not recommend this practice based on the way I was treated.
