It Was Worth It!

My experience with Dr. Thao was amazing! Due to me living out of state, we were able to do a virtual consultation for the asian double eyelid surgery. I traveled from GA to MN to get the procedure done as I was having trouble finding a doctor in GA I was confident in. I looked up Dr. Thao's before and after pics on his website and was happy to see he had several Hmong clients who looked like me. My sister also lives in the area, so it was a bonus to see her and also get the procedure done.

Dr. Thao really took time and care to design my eyes. The procedure was about 1.5 hours and the most pain was just the numbing shots, but it was temporary. I was able to walk out of surgery just fine. The first couple hours after surgery were painful, but after a lot of icing, the pain went away by the end of the night. I was able to go out and about the next day and was able to resume working by Monday(virtually). The rest of the week was good with no pain, just a little itchiness from the stitches. I just had the stitches removed today and my eyes look great, not much bruising or swelling. I'm excited to see the final results in 5-6 months!
