Upper Lid Blepharoplasty with Revision Direct Festoon Excision
WORTH IT
I had previously had a direct festoon excision several years ago which basically didn’t work as I was still experiencing severe puffiness under my eyes. I was looking to have the surgery again, and had done a lot of research, and whilst there was a wait to see Daniel, I am so glad I did.
Daniel was an absolute pleasure to deal with, as he is extremely down to earth and a true professional.
He is also a genius and clearly an expert in his field. Upon examination, the first thing he asked me is if I had ever had fillers, as he suspected that might be the issue with the puffiness. It transpired I had 10 years previously, but had completely forgotten about it, particularly as I remembered at the time, I was informed the filler would only last two years. Clever Daniel, and most impressive indeed, as an MRI confirmed he was right. Daniel then dissolved the filler prior to and during the surgery, which all went very well. Daniel was also always very honest about the result, and whilst he did expect a significant improvement, I was absolutely delighted when there was a greater improvement, than even he expected.
Words cannot express my gratitude to Daniel and his entire team; from the first phone call I made, to follow up appointments after surgery, it has been such an amazing experience. From the ladies in the office to nurse Jo, and Daniel’s new colleague Caroline, everyone has been so lovely, helpful and caring.
I feel like myself again, have regained my confidence and no longer feel self-conscious of having my photograph taken. I cannot thank Daniel and his team enough, and nor can I recommend them more highly.
