I absolutely love it.. it's held up well, opened my eyes up alot and made me look more youthful. The scars are hardly detectable. I love it when I put eyelashes on now and it helps it not be so so bad for me when I need to take a break from them for a week or so. No longer sup r super self conscious

I learned that cleaning up your scars with distilled water and a tiny bit of bio oil really helps the dry stickiness.. Friday is my post op.. so far really happy still !!
I am not sure what's going to happen at the post op.. it kinda sucks that I have to drive a couple hours for it. I think I'm used to normal plastic surgeries where a lot of post ops are done the day after and then online.. but maybe this is different in person. I know this isn't a plastic surgeons office so it's probably why they are much more personal.. either way they're super nice and sweet.. I'm just dreading the winter drive.

Northwest Eyelid & Orbital Specialists , he is in Spokane WA.. but he did an amazing job so it was worth the drive.
ORIGINAL POST

Upper Eyelid Lift

Originally I was trying to decide if I wanted to start with the upper eyelid area or go with a full facelift and temporal eyebrow lift. Deciding that I'm a little broker this year then normal I went with the upper eyelid lift. $5140 was slightly on the spendy side of most of the consults I had with plastic surgeons. BUT let me tell you whaaaaaat. This place was called northwest eyelid and orbital specialists. So they were well knowledgeable and skilled in the arts of the eyes.
First I will say. I originally wanted upper and lower done. I'm happy that the doctor said his opinion rather then just wanting money. And said all I have is wrinkling and crepey skin. So to not do the lower and just get some resurfacing some time soon.
Second... They all made me feel super nice. They didn't make me feel a little bad because of my age (33). Like a lot of the plastic surgeons did.. he listened and watched me.. seeing me raise my eyebrows constantly etc.
They were super super good at communicating. I called probably 3/4 times because I forgot information and they were super helpful.. finally wrote it down. Haha.. that was my mistake.
Day of surgery.
Oh my gosh. The NICEST nurse I have ever had in all the surgeries I have done. I don't remember her name unfortunately. But she was great before and after. The doctor as well.. day of surgery came and talked to me, drew on my eyelids etc. surgical rooms usually give me extreme body anxiety. He and the anesthesiologist talked me through it and it was not bad. I've heard propofol burns for some people but it did not for me thankfully.

I'm not fully healed. The healing is kinda eesh.. not bad just a headache lol no driving... The meds for your eyes give you blurry vision.
But who cares this still is probably the easiest thing I've ever had done. And I'm ALREADY super happy and excited to see the results.

Will update more as time goes on ! Can't wait to see the results
