WORTH IT
I didn’t like the way I had to keep lifting my brows to smooth out my eyes! I take good care of myself and felt the eyes where in need of some updating.
I schedule my upper eye lift with Dr Carraway.
I drove myself and had local anesthetic. Easy Peasy! Can’t wait for the final results!

Right after surgery
Pretty swollen. No pain I didn’t feel anything during the procedure but I know that I am quite a bleeder. My surgeon needed to go back-and-forth between each eye as he cauterized the bleeding. He told me he did all the stitching at the end.

Wondering if your eyes were really uneven at first. I’m having that issue 4 days post and I’m trying not to freak out

The surgeon told me that my eyes were uneven to begin with and to expect them to be a bit uneven when healed. I know that when I look in the mirror my face is not symmetrical but I think the mirror makes things look worse than in reality.

You look great! They look totally symmetrical to me. Im 10 days post and I don’t think this is getting better. My eyes are totally uneven

One day post op
No pain. Felt some mild stinging and took a Tylenol. Quite bruised. I did go walk on the treadmill at the gym for 45 mins. I also slept with saline soaked gauze on my eye to try and help with swelling and bruising.

Good for you getting out! You look amazing for 1 day post-op! Very encouraging my blepharoplasty is scheduled for this Wednesday

You should be just fine. I had my eyes done, upper and lower and had to be at work the following day! Just for an hour. Seriously, this is an easy procedure, Just ice, ice and ice!!!

That’s great!!!! I’m all over town! Went back to work Friday and didn’t care!
