Upper Eye Lid Lift - blepharoplasty
I’m 48 and was noticing more hooding over my right eye. My eyes were no longer symmetrical. I was reading that avg cost was around $4-5k. I wanted better eye lids, but not THAT bad. Then I saw a Groupon for $1249. I thought I must be crazy to buy a Groupon for plastic surgery, but how hard could it be? I had a consultation and liked what I heard and saw. At the time, I couldn’t think of any questions. Once I made my appointment I was given prescriptions for pain and antibiotics. The only part I hated was the injection of lidocaine into my eyes. I think another prescription for an oral sedative (heavy duty, maybe halcyon) would have been beneficial (I was once given this for oral surgery and it was sufficient for that). After five weeks I still have numbness at my lash line. I’m happy I did it but I I’d definitely need a little something more as far as sedation goes. The injections into my eyes were freaky and hurt too.
