Two weeks and two days post op

WORTH IT$9,050
My healing slowed down a bit. I’m having some issues with my eyes burning and swelling. I understand it’s only two weeks post op, I’m not complaining, just updating. I’ve had a few minor complications such as rash along the incisions so I couldn’t apply anything to if I’m healing which made for some itchy incisions. One bit of advice I’d give to anyone considering these procedures, is ask a lot of questions. I wished I’d asked more questions because there isn’t a lot of post op care advice, I didn’t receive a list of dos and donts so I felt like I was calling and asking a lot of questions and maybe being kind of annoying. So please remember to ask a lot of questions.

To be clear, Dr. Lay had no issues answers my questions or calling me back what so ever. I should've asked more questions is my point.
Yes, he is very nice doctor.
Hi there! How are you? Yes! He's great! Have you made any decisions on moving forward?
Not yet, he wants to see me again in Oct.
Hey, any update with your follow up. Also how's the healing process going
I hope you update your progress and healing. It looks like you have a good result. Your eyes are very pretty. I would like to know how your direct eyebrow lift is healing. Is there any reason why you decided to go with a direct eyebrow lift instead of an eyebrow lift done through the scalp?
Your eyes look beautiful post op!!
How are the scars?

Update about what was done

I had a couple messages so I should clarify, I had an upper bleph with just a small amount of skin removal. Outer brow/temple lift and the incision was made above my eyebrow on the outer part of my eyebrows. I had a canthopexy for some support. I was going to have a pinch lower bleph but in surgery Dr.Lay found it unnecessary and decided to not move forward with part of the surgery (yes, I’ll be refunded :-*)
I’m still very swollen around my eyes, and I developed a rash which you’ll see in the pics I posted. Dr. Lay has taken and/or returned my many panicked calls, and has been completely cool about it. He wrote me a prescription for an antifungal, some steroids (medrol) and I’m taking Benadryl. I’m now taking Advil for swelling/pain, which really aside from an odd tightness I don’t feel uncomfortable at all. I’d say after day 2 I didn’t really have much pain at all. First night you feel it... I appreciate how understanding Dr. Lay is. He’s definitely has a good heart!

Thanks for your post & pictures. I understand how you feel, I went thru same thing at other clinic, subrow lift, double eyelid and lower lid, it was a lot swelling, chemosis too. However my wound get better now, I been doing research myself, don't eat seafood, cause itchy & slow down healing, don't touch the wound area too much thats what I learned myself, cause more wound/rash.
I didn't have any pain at all..all swelling went down in 2 weeks..
That's awesome! I'm happy you had a speedy recovery as well! I didn't have much pain either after the first night, and that wasn't even really pain. More of just a tight feeling I think from the canthopexy. It was an easy recovery for sure!
Cold water compresses help a lot the first week
