How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Read the post before you decide to go with Dr. Ho for eye surgery!
My advice to you all who are considering doing eye surgery with Dr. Ho - please think twice! I had incisional double eyelid and medial epicanthoplasty surgery with Dr. Ho in Jan 2021. It has been one and a half years now. I have been waiting to write this review and share my experience long after 'the result is set'.
I would say I truly regret doing the surgery with her. I am sharing some pictures of my eyes before and after the surgery. My eyes definitely were ok before the surgery. I end up getting a pair of uneven eyes and very visible scars after the surgery, which makes me hide from people almost for a year, and even now, I still avoid facing others and looking at their eyes.
I decided to do the surgery with her because of the positive reviews I read here, and she markets herself as 'good at creating natural looks for Asians'. She gave the highest quote among all the surgeons that I talked to. I thought she would be good given the price and the good reviews here. There were some negative reviews but I was thinking it was just them not being lucky. The truth is - no! The only thing that's good in LEA Plastic Surgery is their marketing team! Please read all the negative reviews here because they are all true. And I want to share my result here today I hope this can help you save your money and the future suffering from her surgery.
If you look at my third picture, the suture was uneven right after surgery! I noticed it right away but she insisted it was even and that was due to the swelling. Come on, the two sutures are noticeably in different shapes! One eye is shorter and lower, and the other one is longer and higher. In the last picture , it was me in her office for the one-month follow-up, and she was pulling my eyes when I raised my concern again to her(yes that's her hand). She said it looks even to her, and it will look better when they are not swollen. And in many follow-up meetings with her last year, she just make up different kinds of excuses and let me wait and wait, and say it will look better. Oh yep I do want to mention that she once kept me waiting for more than an hour for a video call follow up...
Now after one and a half years, I guess if I go to her now she might finally admit it is uneven, but I don't plan to go back there and have her do the revision for me. Why would I trust someone who can't perform my first surgery well for the second time? The revision surgery will be a lot more complex than the first surgery. The healing time was also LONG. I also thought it was my problem, so I didn't blame her for the deep scars. Then I did another surgery(not eyes) last year, it heals so well so I start realizing it was her problem...
If your eyes are okay and you are just trying to improve the look, please don't waste the money doing the eye surgery, or at least not with her. With the same money, you can pay for the round-trip ticket and the hotels to Korea and you can have some top surgeons do your surgery. This wasn't an option for me during the pandemic but I am planning to do my revision in Korea sometime this year.
I hope my reviews can be helpful for some of you. There is always a risk of doing any surgery. If you can't take the risk, please don't start the surgery, you are looking beautiful and natural now. Trust me you don't want to live with some noticeable scars on your face. My eyes are also very sensitive after the surgery. I need to use the eye drops every day now. If you insist there is a need to do surgery, please please please do more research and make a wise decision, or you might need to spend a couple more years to do the revision and it will just cost you more as well - I really don't want anyone to experience the same thing I am undergoing now.
