7 weeks post surgery and my eyes are exactly how they should be

I am an advocate of plastic surgery, but not just with any plastic surgeon. I have been lucky enough to have had my share of successful procedures with brilliant surgeons, but I have done everything I can to delay surgery under my eyes as this is not an area where you want anything to go wrong. My eyes and how they look, mean a lot to me.

Over time I have become very aware that not just any plastic surgeon can operate around the eyes. You must choose an Oculoplastic Surgeon, who not only must be brilliant at what he does, but also must truly be an artist. Dr. Massry is all that.

My attempts to stave off this plastic surgery led me to use filler under my eyes. Filler did work for years, until it didn't. One day I woke up and the filler had not only turned color, but started to swell.

I reached out to my friend and aesthetic nurse practitioner, Erin, and she told me about Dr. Massry and how he reconstructed her eyes after she had had a horrible painful botched job. Erin's eyes are beautiful and I had no idea she had had any reconstructive surgery at all. Right then I knew Dr. Massry was the only doctor I wanted touching my eyes.

During my first consultation, I felt absolutely happy and comfortable with Dr Massry. He was clearly in love with his craft, but also only willing to operate only if he felt it was the right thing to do. Another great quality in a Doctor. My case was not easy, but Dr. Massry, after a careful process of melting my filler, an ultrasound to see what was causing the swelling, and having me come in multiple times to watch the progress under my eyes, decided he could operate to fix the mess I created. There was no guarantee it would work, but I knew that no matter what, I would be happy knowing I did all I could to fix it, with the right doctor.

Of course Dr. Massry somehow fixed my mess and did a brilliant job! I am just 7 weeks post surgery and my eyes are exactly how they should be. I feel whole again and I am so grateful!
