Troubling Experience

I had a very troubling experience with Dr. Alexandra Braunstein. During my eye surgery, errors were made that caused a painful corneal abrasion. Sutures were left in my eye even after her assistant had supposedly removed them. I was in significant pain and had to seek care from another oculoplastic surgeon for three months to manage the complications. When I voiced concerns, Dr. Braunstein was dismissive and unresponsive. As a result of the surgery, I now have to wear reading glasses full time. I do not recommend her — in my opinion, her care was negligent and unsafe.
