Thankfully my entropian resolved. However, there is still asymmetry between my eyes, my right eye is slightly retracted. I hate the asymmetry and how my eye shape has changed. But as of now all I can do is continue to massage it and hope for the best!

Post-op day 3

On my 3rd day of recovery and there is already hollowing on my right eye. It is very evident that there has been an over removal of fat resulting in a sunken in look. During my consult, the physician stated that he takes a conservative approach to fat removal because it is easier to take more out then it is to replace it. He has over 19years experience and I felt confident in his ability to provide a desirable result. Now here I am, day 3 with a horrible result. The emotional distress this has caused is nearly unbearable. The middle portion of my eyelid is collapsed inwards and causing constant discomfort as my eyelashes touch my eye. I’m devastated and petrified the hollowing will get worse as I heal.

Don’t stress it my look because of the healing process
You look beautiful! I definitely see a significant transformation even in the early stages of healing. It’s improved significantly! Remember that it’s early in recovery and swelling can be uneven and take on different changes every day. Hang in there. You can always do a little filler once a year as a touch up if you still want to improve it.
thank you! makes me feel better. I guess I just have to be patient and hope my eye shape returns.
Please be patient. It takes time for everything to heal and settle properly. Don't despair, just give it time.
Thank you, I appreciate it!
I had a horrible upper bleph 2 years ago....rounded eyes, sunken in look. He took too much skin and fat and I couldn't close After 2 years, I just had a fat transfer done last week to uppers and lowers....That aggressive upper bleph totally changed my eyes for the worse!!!!!!!!!!!!
That’s terrible, it’s so devastating. I hope this surgery helps with your complications.
how is your healing going?
I am doing much better....still a little bruised and swollen from fat transfer, but I think it is going to look much better.
please, keep updating. I have been wanting to have the same procedure for years and was thinking of doing it next year.
I will.
It looks like you may have a little lower lid retraction. Do you feel like the lower lid is pulling down and too much white is showing? Message me if you'd like some suggestions.
I had 4 procedures. Three by one surgeon and correction by another. August i hsd another lower nleph. I am dunk on so bad from the first three procedures and then another. I also am very discolored undernesth my eyes. WmThe furst surgeon reved too much skin znf wss yoo aggressive. I LOOKED BETTER BEFORE THE BLEPH.

Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty

I am 29 years old and am unfortunately predisposed to puffy under eyes. I have been considering this surgery for years and decided to have a lower blepharoplasty performed. As I am young I was a candidate for the inner transconjunctival approach.

The surgery itself and recovery have been completely pain free. However, I am post op day 2 and I am feeling very upset and distressed over the appearance of my right eye. It appears droopy, there is increased sclera show, and my lower eyelid is turned nearly completely inwards which is causing discomfort as my eyelashes are touching my eye. I met with my doctor very briefly the following day and he encouraged me to massage the area. I will be following up with him again in one week.

I understand it is still very early to tell if there is an abnormality but I can’t imagine this will fix itself. I greatly hope that I am wrong. Unfortunately I didn’t ask any questions during my brief follow up. The uncertainty is leading to a lot of stress. I have written out questions to ask my doctor when I speak with him again. In the meantime, I am wondering if anyone else in the community has had this procedure with a similar outcome?

Thank you
Give yourself some time. Day 2 is really for any realistic review of your surgery. I am at day 50 and my eyes are still improving.
Take care of yourself for your healing process but for real with the picture you sent i think you will be just fine :)
Thank you I appreciate it! I really hope it will resolve itself.
