Transconjunctival Lower Blepharoplasty W/ Lip&Eye Fat Transfer
WORTH IT$7,000
I had Transconjunctival Lower Blepharoplasty with fat grafting under eyes and fat transfer to lower lip.
Dr. K been “doing” my eyes since 2016 with filler. I wanted to stop using any filler on my face as I’ve began to notice women looking unnaturally puffy, and destroying their faces.
The new “Charlotte” face on Sex in the City is a perfect example of a beautiful woman who chose filler rather than opting for “invasive surgery”, which I believe is the thought process for many women. They believe filler is technically “ not a surgical procedure” and they convince themselves it keeps them “natural”.
I’m not against it when you’re just noticing some hollowness, etc., but overtime the results will never look natural, you will spend thousands with subpar results; this is a fact no matter how amazing your injector may be.
I’m aware that the cost is much greater for surgery when compared to filler, and it is certainly understandable why many (including myself) have opted for a quick and economical solution.
Eventually it just makes sense aesthetically and economically to go through with blepharoplasty.
6 months post-op (and about 4 weeks after) my results are natural, I look refreshed without having pillows under my eyes, and the recovery was not that bad, considering we were all masked up in NYC anyway.
The eyes were swollen and puss came out for about 2 weeks - I looked very very scary. My under-eyes had yellow and scale like texture - similar to skimming the top off of heated milk. I also had a lower lip fat injection and it looked like a rubber cylinder was placed in the lip. Overall I looked monstrous.
Within a month my face began to settle.
Within 6 weeks the results were visible and in my opinion, amazing.
My only issue would perhaps be the fact that Dr.Kotlus doesn’t operate in his office (which many NYC surgeons do). This makes it arduous with scheduling an outside facility, an anesthesiologist and involves much more paperwork, especially with Covid regulations. I understand I chose elective surgery so I’m not complaining about that, just merely pointing out that it was a lot.
