Surgery day and Post op day 1

WORTH IT
Surgery day I was sooo nervous. Nurse and the anesthesiologist made me feel comfortable before going in. They were sweet and funny. Specially the nurse, I love jokes. It always makes me feel better. Anyway surgery was like I closed my eyes and woke up and it was done. So right after surgery I couldn’t read anything it was blurry. I mean I could make out some stuff but the words had to be bold and big. Anyway no pain at all. Jut like annoyed my vision was blurry which was expected lol I’m glad I was annoyed and not in pain. I didn’t really need pain medication last night but I still took it but in case I went to sleep and pain started. The medicine did make me a little nauseated but the lady from surgical center said it was probably because I didn’t eat anything (forgot to). Anyway my eyelids were swollen but not like as bad as I expected. Also, I have patches under my eyes so Idk how bruised I am there. Now fast forward to this morning, day after surgery I woke up feeling the same no pain just discomfort. My jaw does hurt a a little but not bad at all. Let’s put it this way, it hurts more when u forget to wear your teeth retainer for 2 weeks and then put it in lol happens to me all the time. So my jaw soreness is not bad at all right now. Anyway really looking forward to the results. I was sooo scared going into this specially because my sisters were worried for me. I didn’t tell them till day of surgery because I already knew how much against it the would be but anyway I happy to be feeling good right now. And I will update tomorrow or Monday :)

Surgery is Tomorrow!!! Cosmetic Orbital Decompression

Hello, first off I am not having eyelid surgery. For some reason “Orbital Decompression” is not an option. Anyway it’s finally happening, I am scheduled for cosmetic orbital decompression tomorrow. I am a bit nervous. I am writing a process review because I didn’t find many on RealSelf and I would love to help as many people as possible. Dr Ray Taban has great reviews overall, I will keep updating. :O
