I was able to upload the picture of me when I first was woken up, in recovery. There wasn’t a lot of pain, just discomfort.
And of course, weakness.
When you research these elective surgeries, they show you before & after. I’d like people to see what it entails.

Camtech-- I agree!!!! I had a lot done and was unrecognizable and distorted. I was freaked out and so unprepared.
That’s why this site is good. It shows us the real deal.

Day 12

Yellow under eyes almost all gone.
I’m still feeling weak, but not too bad.
I used the antibiotic eye drops for 10 days. Today I finally washed my whole face in the shower! It felt so good. I’m not being allowed to post my Day 12 photo. I also wish I could post my photo from in the recovery room. But it won’t let me.

Day 6post surgery.

I’m feeling stronger. Swelling has decreased about 25%. Bruises are now red. It’s itchy. I found out the antibiotic ointment was seeping into my eyes , causing blurriness! So I quit using it. But I’m keeping the stitches clean.
