I Will Not Recommend Dr. Hessler
I did not want to write a bad review about dr. Hessler, but my recent follow up appointment made me to do this. I had upper lids blepharoplasty with dr. Hessler in 2020.
Here is a result:
1. I got a severe dry eye condition because my eye lids did not closed properly.
2. I got infected incision in 4 days after the surgery. I called the office and emailed right away, but I got my appointment when infected area got worse and now I have a scar on my right eye.
Here is eye doctor statement, when I was trying to say about closure of my lids and dr.Hesller tried to deny.
ASSESSMENT AND PLAN
1. Bilateral dry eyes
2. Lagophthalmos of upper and lower eyelid of left eye, unspecified lagophthalmos type
History of blepharoplasty:
Patient with significant dry eyes and incomplete lid closure in the left eye. Dry eyes not under control with artificial tears and ointment every night at bedtime.
3. Also I had a different eyes shape and you can see on the photo that extra skin wasn't removed.
4. So I decided to come for follow up last month January to talk about revision of this extra skin/fat that really bother me. Not to say that I was charged $250 for follow up appointment as they say it was consultation, bit dr. Hessler refused to do a surgery scaring me more that nobody will fix it now since I got a dry eye. So my eyes do not look that I have a blepharoplasty and I suffer from dry eye.
